I was never much of an Aqua Teen Hunger Force fan. ATHF, along with most of the Adult Swim lineup that tried to recreate the lazy genius of Space Ghost, just never did it for me. But the opening to “Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters” is one of the funniest things I’ve seen in a while. And probably the best bit they ever did on that show. And that song, pounded out by the excellent metal band Mastodon, should be a staple at movie theaters. From what I hear, the rest of the movie doesn’t hold up, but that’s fine by me. It’s what we have the YouTubers for. Thanks to my buddy Ryan for introducing me to this hilarity.

A classic highlight that everyone’s seen. Best layup ever? Yes. And I would argue that it might be the most beautiful basketball movement ever filmed. That low angle, combined with the smooth athleticism of Dr. J, makes it seem as though he’s actually pulling a Mr. Fantastic with his limbs.

A few weeks ago, my friend John claimed that MLB pitcher Matt Garza’s Ferrari was parked outside his apartment in Brattleboro, VT. This is the kind of claim that’s just too random to make up. Still, I was a bit suspicious. Then I saw the proof above.

That’s about as solid as evidence can get, I’d imagine. This was taken back during Spring Training, which raises the question: what the hell was Matt Garza doing up in Vermont instead of down in Florida throwing heaters? I guess the only one who knows the answer to that is GARZA.
