Another Frightening Show About the Economy
Back in May, I listened to an episode of This American Life called The Giant Pool of Money. If you haven’t checked it out yet, it provides a clear and comprehensive look into the causes of the Subprime Mortgage Crisis. Unfortunately, a lot has happened since then to make matters worse. Fortunately, Ira Glass and co. kept up with everything and have released this companion piece. These two episodes are essential listening to better understand the situation we are all in.
