Fantasy Baseball: Barry Zito has checked out
I used to love this guy on the A’s. His curve was one of the best pitches in baseball. But I don’t know why I ever decided it was a good idea to draft him for my fantasy team. $126 million to pitch for a broken team is never a good combination. So far, his contract has proved that the Giants are one of the most poorly managed professional sports organizations out there. How’s he been earning his keep so far? With a record that now sits at 0-4 and a K:BB ratio that’s an atrocious 8:9 on the season.
