Netflix Update - Margot at the Wedding

Noah Baumbach makes better movies than Wes Anderson right now. There. I said it. Saw this one last night and I’ve been thinking about it since. Not sure why it wasn’t nominated for a Best Screenplay award, but it was certainly deserving. It wasn’t flawless, by any means. At times, it was up its own ass with a  little too much with psychoanalysis. But it was genuine, urgent, and really really funny. Jack Black was unbelievable. Nicole Kidman, for all the flack she catches in the tabloids, reminded me why she’s one of the best actresses in the world. I will be thinking about this one for a while. Highly recommended.
