Just missed Ira Glass and company as they arrived State College the week after I was there visiting my friend (grad student studying biofuels - mad scientist) back in early November 2009.
It’s amazing how much this episode syncs with my Penn State adventure. I don’t think I ever drank as much beer as I did that weekend. I also got to eat scrapple… an experience that no amount of alcohol can make you forget.
