Came across this great compilation today on The Daily Beast. I would have altered it a bit (it was sorely lacking Crispin Glover’s acid-fest), but overall it was pretty good. There were a few that were brand new to me, the highlight undoubtedly being Vidal vs. Mailer on The Dick Cavett Show.

Awesome that MTV took a chance on this show. If you dig it, the movie is also worth checking out. And if you’ve ever wanted to read stories about a man with the face of a cat, or a guy with no legs who walks around on his abnormally long arms, you should check out Arthur Bradford’s book.

You know how cheesy shows from the ’70s like Charlie’s Angels and The Odd Couple have to set up their entire convoluted premise in the opening credtis? The people who made this video sure do, and it’s hilarious.
