I’m not sure what to make of these glossys of our new government, taken by a man who’s known for his slick portraiture of celebrities. They are, without a doubt, beautiful pictures. Everyone looks like a celebrity! Well, maybe not Pete Rouse or David Axlerod. You’d need a special effects department to fix up those guys.
Still… this is one shiny team of leaders we have...

SNL takes down BK’s Whopper Virgins
This parody of Burger King’s deplorable ad campaign capped the end of a very strong episode of SNL last Saturday. The show is really starting to hit its stride with the current cast. I dare say this season, riding high on the strength of the ‘08 campaign material, is the best since Will Ferrell left the show.
